Wadena County announces that it has passed by resolution a ½% Transportation Sales and Use Tax. This tax is enacted for September 30, 2015 through December 31, 2025. This tax will be used by the Wadena County Highway Department for the construction and maintenance of the roads under its jurisdiction and authority. Residents and businesses in Wadena County may owe a local use tax on purchases of goods and services made outside of Wadena County. Taxpayers may get further information and forms necessary for calculating and paying the tax on the following Minnesota Department of Revenue website:
