Who can vote in Minnesota Register Online
You must be: It's quick and easy! You will need your
        • A U.S. citizen Minnesota driver's license or Minnesota
        • At least 18 years old on Election Day identification card number, or the last four
        • A resident of Minnesota for 20 days numbers of your Social Security number.
        • Finished with all parts of any felony sentence

You cannot vote if a court has ruled that your are

Absentee Ballot Application



Use this application for federal, state, and county elections. To be eligible to vote in Minnesota you must:
  • Be at least 18 years old on Election Day
  • Be a citizen of the United States
  • Have resided in Minnesota for 20 days immediately preceding Election Day
  • Have any felony conviction record discharged, expired, or completed
  • Not be under court-ordered guardianship where a court has revoked your voting rights
  • Not have been ruled legally incompetent by a court of law
