This unique County-owned campground has an upper and a lower level for camping. The lower level allows a panoramic view of the river accessed by the gently descending rustic stairway. The upper level, while providing access to the river via the stairway, is surrounded by forest and really gives the effect of camping in the woods.
A popular place for tubers to get on the water, it is approximately 3 miles to the next available landing.
Smaller camper units on the upper level only - no hookups provided.
