Passport Acceptance Facility

Visit the U.S Passports and International Travel website for answers to questions, what you will need to bring with you when you apply, fee information, and application forms. Electronic U.S. birth certificates cannot be used for citizenship. Original or certified copies only, will be accepted.  The Passport Acceptance Facility is located in the Planning & Zoning Office.   Routine processing of a passport application now takes 8-11 weeks, and expedited processing (for an additional $60) takes 5-7 weeks. Processing times now begin the day applications are received at the passport agency or center, not on the day the customer applied for a passport at an acceptance facility. We are unable to accept passport applications after 11:00am on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 due to staffing issues.
