Civil Process
The Sheriff's Records Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., not including holidays.

Communications
The Communications Center, Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP), for Wadena County provides enhanced 911 services for a population of approximately 13,650 people.

Investigations
This division is responsible for tracking Registered Predatory Offenders ICAC and assisting local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in their investigations.

K-9
The K-9 Unit is used to track suspects, lost individuals, apprehend suspects, protect the deputy, and locate narcotics.

Patrol
Our uniformed deputies respond to calls for service within the county driving marked squad cars. They also assist the city police department within the county and neighboring agencies with their requests for assistance.

Special Weapons & Tactics (SWAT)
The Team has been used to execute high risk narcotic related search warrants, such as methamphetamine labs and marijuana grows, arrest warrants, hostage rescue, and barricaded armed subjects.
